House Of art and Culture

2008

The project is divided into three parts: The opaque base reflects the Oriental architectural style.

It is coated with Lebanon cut stones bearing projected patterns representing civilizations throughout the centuries, Those patterns are hollowed out so that sun rays can reach the core of the building.

On the top, the glass sheet, with its transparency antd opening, symbolizes Western architecture, In the center, the Geode mixes brilliance of glass with opacity of stone.

This is the central component around which all MAC activities gravitate. It is impressive by its size both inside and outside, a work of art by itself, permanently exposed in the exhibition room on the ground floor.

Area: 15,000 M2
